Admiralty Shutters
The Admiralty Range of Shutters is our WATERPROOF range.
This range is manufactured using a plastic resin (ABS – Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and is ideal for rooms such as bathrooms, wet rooms, swimming pools and saunas which may have a higher than normal exposure to water, steam or moisture. The Admiralty Range is 100% waterproof, extremely hard wearing and robust yet still as aesthetically pleasing as our wood range.
Laminated veneered timber does not work well in bathrooms as water vapour can cause the laminate to peel and swell. In such situations, the Admiralty Range should be used within 3 metres of any shower and it comes with stainless steel silver hinges as standard which are marine grade rust proof so ideal for such ‘wet’ areas.
