1. Warranties and Guarantees
We offer an industry leading 5-year warranty on all of our shutters. The majority of shutter suppliers only offer a 3-year warranty but we are confident that we supply a superior product and hence we can afford to give our customers an extended warranty. Our products are extremely durable and should in fact last a lifetime.
If any shutter needs to be replaced for any reason it will be supplied following a re-measuring of the window and a new order will be placed provided that the surveyor completes a full investigation and inspection of the reported damage/fault. The delivery time for this replacement shutter will be in accordance with our usual delivery times as the shutter will have to be custom made again.
All of our surveyors and fitters who attend your premises are fully insured under our company policy.
2. Paint colour
We will endeavour to match your paint/colour/finish requirements but there is a slight margin of variation when trying to make an exact custom match due to factors such as the nature of the paint, the natural texture of the wood and the lighting of the room.
3. Payment Terms
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time the order is placed. The balance of the 50% is payable on the date of installation or delivery. Made to measure orders are non-refundable.
Time shall be of the essence in relation to payment.
4. Delivery Times
The shutters will be installed or delivered within 10-13 weeks from the date of the order being placed. Delivery times are estimates only and time is not of the essence and we cannot be held responsible for any damages or consequential loss or damage resulting from the delay or failure to deliver/install by a certain specified date.
If we have been engaged to supply and install the shutters we require somebody to be present at the premises who has the authority to sign the acceptance form confirming that the shutters have been supplied and fitted to your satisfaction. If no such person is available on site it will be deemed that you have accepted that the shutters have been supplied and installed in accordance with your wishes.
